Thumbs up ATTN: All RB25 OWNERS

I am looking for some dimensional specs on the rb25 skyline motor. I wasnt able to find any... anywhere. I am thinking about giving my 300ZX a little more of an edge, and would appreciate any help. Thanks for any info or links.. NISSAN ROX!!.. lol

well if you just need the dimensional specs to see if an RB25 would fit then i'm fairly sure it would fit with a bit of work of course and enough cash to finance a small country. I'm estimating it would be something around $10-12000 for the conversion. for that price you could turbocharge your engine if you have no turbo now and thats the probem, or if you already have a twin turbo...... well just think of the power you could get with 10k of modification.

I know it would fit; however I have only ever seen it done once.. and that was by somebody in Japan. I just didnt know how much more room youd need to make. My Z its already TT, but I need to do an engine tear-down.. and I found an rb25det for pretty cheap. As you probably know an inline 6 is more efficient than a V style motor, with higher capabilites... and MUCH easier to work on. Just trying something different. Thanks for your imput anyway.

Re: ATTN: All RB25 OWNERS

I heard the Trannys on the RB25 and VG30 are pretty much the same-? And that the RB25 will bolt on directly to the stock Z tranny. I dunno but that's the rumor I heard....
