Possible Radiator Problem?

Recently, my car has been leaking engine coolant. I put a new radiator and waterpump and as of today, I can hear a bubbling sound coming from my hood. I don't know what it is but my temperature gauge is sky high. The fan kicks in but doesn't seem to cool the engine as the gauge is still high. After a while, the gauge came down to normal but the coolant is leaking a lot.

Any ideas as to what causes the bubbling sound and suggestions?
Thanks
