I Need Help With My '93 Maxima

Hey everybody!!
Today, as I was driving along in my Maxima '93 suddenly my dash lights went out. I stopped and checked all of the fuses and found out that my rear lights fuse had burned out. I changed the fuse but it blew again as soon as I put it in. I dont know what is the problem, the rear light fuses just keep on blowing. Plese tell if you know why this is happening and how to fix it. I would really appriciate your help!
Thanx!

Hey Antonio!!

The same thing happened to me with my 93. I know what the problem is, check your rear lights. First, do not put another fuse in the fuse box because it will blow it out. Second, open the trunk and pull out the panels for the brake lights. What you have is a short!! Pull out every light bulb and check to see if the connectors have melted together. The connectors are at the bottom of the light bulbs. Remember, replace the light bulbs accordingly. Pull out every single one and check the base of the bulbs. Good Luck!!

Thnx guys! I was about to do wut Mr Nismo suggested, but guess wut!?!?!?! The lights went back on by themselves. hhhmmmmmm strange, but I am happy.....finally I can drive at night.

Although I have one more problem, u see my left headlight keeps on going out and then all of a sudden coming back on. It might be out for a week and then on for an hour or it might be on for a couple of days and out for couple of hours. I know I have a bad connection somewhere, but I dont know where. I also know it pretty common problem with these Maximas. I've checked all visible wiring (leading to the headlight) everything seems to be fine. If any of you had the same problem and u found a bad connection, can u let me know where was it, or maybe if the problem is really in something else, can u let me know wut it is and how should I fix it.

Thanx in addvance, I appriciate any help
Ciao :sun:

You probably still have a short somewhere, you should still check it out. It may be okay right now, but it will probably resurface at a later time, maybe at night when you need em'....

Lightbulb

Ya, you right, I'll try to locate the problem as soon as I get some time.
Right now the lights are on, so i think I am going to wait till it'll go off again.

Ciao
