1/12 `69 Z28 Camaro finally FINISHED!!!

And finally. I probably spent more time on this build than any other. The goal of this project was to really get the finish "right" (see my WIP thread for how I rubbed out the finish) and to replicate every detail from the 400+ pictures of real 69 Z/28 `s I collected over a 2 or 3 month period. I added alot of small details, including the push-up door locks, right side window, the `69 Camaro window sticker (printed from a real `69 window sticker), a period correct Pennsylvania inspection sticker (expires April of 1970, so it was bought in April of 1969) with a matching period correct PA license plate. For the window sticker, I tried to get the scotch tape holding the sticker in place to correct scale size. You cant see it in the pictures, but it is pretty convincing up close.
I wasn`t about to flip it on its side, so you will have to trust that the underside is detailed with all the brake lines, labels where applicable, and factory chalk markings.

Absolutely incredible. Looks great. Im sure they didnt look that good in 69. @ questions for ya....How did you do the redline tires and are those custom
exhaust tips or is that the oob exhaust painted

Those are tips cut from aluminum tubing. The kit tailpipes interfere with the rear shackles for the suspension, so I tried bending them to shape. I ended up breaking off the tips of the kit exhaust doing that, so I had to make new ones.

WOW! That truck in the background must be a hundred feet tall! And those have to be the biggest leaves I've ever seen. I'm surprised you park your Camaro so close to them.
