Question advice please

hi i live on 500 acers most of it is one big feild. i have 4 freinds and we all have about 500 bucks. were thinking of buying some cheep junk vehicals and raceing against each other in the feild. i dont really wanna make a dune buggy because it takes a while and a bit of money that and were gonna be cutting the feild here right away and we wanna get out their.

what are the best cars or trucks to look for?
the body style doesnt matter to us we plan on ripping of most of the pannels to lighten them up anyway. not really leaning toward anything fuel injected because carbs are easyer to play with and quicker. theres lots of big rocks in my feild and it will snow i think we'll weld skid plates underneath the cars and the engines. kinna looking for tall narrow tires so they dig down and bite and maybe a little clearance. anyway what are your opinions what cars or trucks do u all know of that are tuff and cheep to repair or come by. were looking for those 200 doller cars in the bargain finder and when their compleatly destroyed at the end of the fall well tow'em out.

one of my freind has already bought an old celica the other is looking at a 6 cylinder ford 1/2 ton since well probibly be betting i wanna smoke'm booth!!!

also id perfer cars that come with manual transmissions.

if anyone knows a good site for info on this sort of thing or has some info on their favorit bagging wagon please post.

why do you think these cars would be best?. arn't parts for probes expensive and kinnda hard to come by. i was kinda thinking of those old g-bodys they all came with 307, 305, 350's easy to find cheep interchangealbe parts and a decent amout of power. but i dont know how tuff they are and i dont think many came with manual trassmissions which takes a little of the fun out of it. that and their fairly heavy i wonder how the would do in mud and other aggresive terrain?

do you have any good info on the probe suburu ect.

oh my boss is trying to get rid of this eagle looks like a station wagon has 4 wheel drive and a 6cyl i think and fairly good ground cleance but i dont know what he wants for it. what do u guys think

It would be awesome just to get like all different cars and just have about the same horsepower and race. Like have some old Subaru's and escorts and stuff and just have fun. Some old Chevy trucks would be fun to mess around with.
