Gallardo video
Racingflix.com has just posted a new Gallardo video. It is in German I believe, but you get a nice sample of what the car sounds like at speed. Sounds like the Murci but maybe not as deep. They show a manual and paddle shift box in action.
I will say the car looks fast (of course) but it looks quick as well if you know what I mean. Directional changes look very quick almost as if the car is too twitchy. This car may have the best all around characteristics to date.

great video!!
... i recently read in a road test of the Gallardo that in fact it is great in almost everything!! they said the sound is great but not so deafening as the Murci's V12 at high rpms (wich when at high speeds becomes a bit tyring - they say). Something interesting was that there was a comparative run in the Imola circuit with the Gallardo, the 911 Turbo and the 360 Modena F1... the 911 Turbo made a better time than the 360 with some seconds ahead and the best time was.. yes.. the Gallardo with 1 second less than the 911!!  (I'll check the magazine so I can post the correct timings later) they talked about the e-gear, wich in sports mode, makes a shift in 0.17 seconds, wich Lamborghini claims that only can be bested by one of their test drivers (cant remember the name, but he wasnt balboni) overall, they said that a Lambo owner, compared to a 360 owner, beneficts of more 100 bhp and a more exclusive car!

i saw a Gallardo at Goodwood Festival of Speed! You could hear that lovely V10 perfectly, it was brilliant
