Hey, do you really think this pic is real? I don`t know, cause you never get any information about the new X5..even in Germany. My dad just ordered the X5 and they guaranted him delivery in November - with the facelift. But nobody knows what this includes... This pic seems to be kind of real, cause it has the new lights of the 7 series and the new 3 series. Many pics show the X5 with the new facelift but actually these are all pics of the new X3... Does anyone know a little bit more about this car?

V8 4.8 cc
450 hourse power " Alpina Z8 engine "
New gear box: six speed "swich-tronic"

Complete speculation. Yes, it will be a 4.8L, but horsepower and gearbox figures aren't exact. For all i know they may put the SMG as the standard gearbox. plus 450 horsepower seems quite too much from the 4.8L engine. The 4.6 only had 340. I don't think .2L is gonna raise the hp level that much. Maybe to 400, but not any higher. I've posted before that the 4.8is will be in direct competition to the porsche cayenne turbo, but the 4.8is will be just a tad slower (maybe .2 seconds from 0-60). Since the X5 is lighter it should only need to put out around 400 horses.
