automatic flywheel on a standard?
ok so like an idiot i bought a flywheel for my 96 cavalier and didnt ask the guy weither it was off an auto or standard....and its off an auto. I have a 5sp and i dont kno if it will fit..its a 2.2...does anyone know if it would fit or does anyone need one? thanks

Flywheel=manual, flexplate=automatic (so any flywheel is off a manual, I'd return it on those grounds.)
They wont interchange. A flywheel has a friction surface for the clutch. A flywheel is also considerably heavier because it would have the torque converter bolted to it for some extra weight.
