Question 1966 Mustang Engine ID

We have a 1966 'Stang GT Coupe. I am in the 1st stages of restoring her. It's in great shape - however I am trying to figure how to ID the motor to see if it is indeed original. I am not sure of where the ID numbers are located on the engine or where I can go to decode them. Help!

Thanks in advance!
