chroming of rims?

I would like to paint the rims of my pocher porsche 911 in some type of chrome colour. makes them look a lot better! the question is, how am I going to do that? any suggestions?

If you have an airbrush, use alclad II chrome.

If you don't have an airbrush, use a spray of some sort, such as TS-30 (Tamiya Spray-Silver Leaf).

Or, if you want more of a chrome look than TS-30, you can use model master Chrome Silver by brush, but beware of brush marks.

in my opinion, the tamiya spray cans, just don't cut it, the are no way near chrome ; they're more like sparkly aluminium, if you want real chrome colour, use Alclad, like suggested.

Don't forget, if you really want chrome wheels. Don't even bother with paint. Chrome-Tech USA

Just ship your parts (and your money) out to these guys and they'll come back shining in flawless chrome. I'm using their services for an ultra-detailed Studebaker Avanti project.
