Intake, chip, exhaust. In that order. Maybe some good performance tires.

I have a '92 prelude and I have an intake, headers and a full exhaust with a new cat and that has given me a pretty good amount of performance to start with...I plan on doing cams and such next which would be another good upgrade for you

A chip should be the last modification on an engine because it doesnīt do anything for a stock or nearly stock Honda engine (and itīs the same with most other NA-engines!!).

You will probably notice your exhaust swap the most. It was worth it to do it... just don't mess around with anything cheap.

Oh, my bad on the chip. I forgot Honda's are tuned pretty close to the limit already. It made a huge difference on my car. Go with the intake and exhaust though, it will help performace and certainly give you a cool sound. So long as you get quality parts.

Intake, exhaust and header are always a good start. Just donīt get a short ram intake because it will suck in the hot air from the engine bay and that will hurt performance. Get an AEM (most common), Injen or Iceman CAI (short for Cold Air Intake) and everything should be fine.

If you want to go turbo earlier or later than forget eveything I wrote before. So maybe it would be a good idea to tell us your budget and future goals for your car!?

i wasn't going to get a turbo. My car is an import from japan with a VTEC H22A engine, i think its quick enough already. i was looking at spending between $2000-$5000 australian dollars that is, on engine mods.

for my exhaust i was thinking of getting 2 & a quarter inch pipe work from the cat back with a magnaflow muffler, that good enough??

and what headers would be good??

Magnaflow mufflers are not available over here in germany so I really canīt help you with that. But Iīm sure somebody else can!? Personally I would get a Thermal R&D (Stealth or Classic) or Mugen exhaust system...

Maybe this will help you with the header: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ghlight=header
