my front brakes stick. i pulled the caliper and tried to c-clamp the piston in, and it will not go. when i open the bleeder and then compress the piston, it goes in and fluid comes out. then i close the bleeder and the piston will not go in. no fluid goes back to the master when i compuress the brakes with the c-clamp

Hello! You need to replace the rubber hose that goes from the metal brake line to the caliper,What happens is the rubber hose will get rotten inside,And colllapse.That happened to me when I owned an old Cadillac.Is it doing it on one side,Or both sides?? I would suggest changing both hoses(Left side and Right side).Good luck!! Let me know what happens..Diesel 1962

replacing the hose fixed the problem. the people at autozone said this is not uncommon.
