Hey ah789454,

I have a DX non-vtec and I mash on Si's and Lancers. I dont know if you want to put a lot into your engine. I'm looking for a swap because I've exasperated all means into pulling power from my little d16.

Mods in my car: DX D16 engine:
Greddy Headers
Changed compression (stroke of my pistons, a thinner gasket)
AEM cam gear and cam
8mm spark cables
I believe we have advance timing in DX engines
Cold air intake (Injen)
92 octane with a booster when racing
tuned
Short shifter/second stage clutch
Other mods.
Ex intake manifold
Matrix performance muffler
190 hp Dx engine D16

OR YOU CAN GO WITH A SUPERCHARGER AND OTHER LITTLE LEAGL MODS THAT WILL GIVE YOU 100 HP OR SO ON WHAT EVER YOUR CAR HAS.

Except for the fuel management portion of the kit, the Edelbrock should be able to fit the Y7 with some modification to the piping since the throttle body faces different. I'm not sure what fuel management system you'd use in place of the Edelbrock unit.

Look for an engine, or try and put together a turbo. I shop at www.nudealracing.com. they sometimes have used stuff. If nothing else they can give you some ideas.....

turbo that thing

if you dont wanna pay the price for a brand name turbo kit for your car. check out the guys at www.homemadeturbo.com they show you how you can build your own turbo using junkyard parts for very little price. i say turbo just for reliability factor. im running a d15b2 with extensive work done to it not to mention the zex kit. i spend every saturday going through the car to make sure everything is in working order. im not saying its that much of a bitch but thats me and i like to make sure ill be ok. with a turbo kit at say 7psi you should be fine on a stock y8. and yes another choice is the jrsc. great low end power....great reliability but not much room for improvment in the long run.
