One cylinder misfire

what would cause one cylinder to misfire? is there any other reason besides plugs and wires?

Clogged or bropken fuel injectors could be to blame. Put some fuel injector cleaner into your tank of gas. If that don't fix it, you may need to pull the injectors and have a look at them.
