First G20 Road Race event?
On Dec. 2nd, Speedtrialusa.com is having another track day at Button Willow. I'll be there and was wondering if anyone's interested either run or watch? It's very very fun and for those of you that are modding up the cars...on the track is when all the mods count!!! why spend money on the car making it perform and NOT use it?
They are running a special deal right now and it's only $90 for the whole day!!! normally, it's $130 or so... anyway, Button Willow is a course that's suitable for beginners and have some pretty good stretches to really get the top speed outta your car and there's always real professional racers there to give you tips on how to REALLY drive. Anyway, if you plan on racing, buy a helmet or they're not gonna let you on the track. FUN FUN FUN!!!

$90 for the WHOLE day??
That's an amazing price. I suggest anyone within driving distance of this should go, modded car or stock. It would be the most fun $90 you ever spent on your car. |

DAMN! that is cheap.
I ran at Buttonwillow last January, and I think I paid about $120 for the day. It was a LONG drive from Phoenix, but it was totally worth it! I learned a LOT that day. Most important, I learned how little I actually knew about my car! Rather rude awakening on the first lap when i realized how little I knew about my car at the limit. I learned more in the one day than I probably have the rest of the time I've been driving. (although that's only about 4 and a half years, about 3 and a half at that time) Yikes! I wish I could make it again, that track was a blast! Do you know what configuration they're going to run?
