CA18DET swap into B12

Hey, Just wondering if anyone is interested in this swap. I have a friend who can hook you up with the whole package wich includes a 5 speed tranny, block, re-built turbo(T28), Limited slip diff., 550cc injectors. Just about everything needed to do the swap. The only problem will be the wiring harness, which he may make one up for extra cost. The motor is around 260-280bhp. Anyone out there intersted??

Anyone interested or have any thoughts or opinions on this swap. I plan on doing it shortly unless I find a good deal on a 92 Eclipse GSX.

unless that turbo is boosted to around 10-12 psi theres no way its going to have 260-280 bhp, look at this the GTiR SR20DET is a 2.0 with a t25 at a 7 psi stock and its at 227 bhp and your talkin about a 1.8

I personally wonder about how "streetable" a b12 would be with 260+hp. Ive done some reading about the CA swap, and I dont think its what I would go with.

What kind of price would we be looking at, Nsane18?

And I dont want to sound like a know-it-all (because I am definitly not one), but I was pretty sure that a stock CA18DET was only about 175hp. So you are saying that with a rebuilt turbo, and some different injectors, im going to net 75hp?

What about the internals? You obviously have to be boosting significantly more to get +75hp out of the same motor. What kind of internal modifications are we talking about here? ....there are a few details missing here.

damn dude you're on a nissanforums posting spree, you know there are better sites than that one right?

there are advantages to all forums, this one I think is a lot better at answering newbie questions politely and accurately, nissanforums has more info to search for, etc
