DPFI throttle cable for MPFI?

I wasn't able to get the throttle cable for MPFI, so can I use my existing DPFI cable?

How do you unhook the cable, anyway?

yes you can use it. yes it is too long. you have to route it creatively, as in you have to make a loop of the cable for it to fit. but yes, it will fit and work. my brother just did this on his 91 STD.. swapped in a MPFI D16z6 and used the stock throttle cable.

Awesome.

If I wanted to really do it right and get the MPFI one, how do I pull it out? I tried yanking it really hard from the donor car and it didn't come out, lol.

Have it come straight down then loop around the driver side enough mount and around and straight to the TB. It will work that way. It is ghetto though, order a new cable off the internet or something.
