Bucking engine
I saw one of the posts below about low idle. I have the same problem, but the engine bucks...causing me to have to give it gas to fix. One time it totally stalled, then I restarted, and it continued with the bucking, again stalling...causing me to have to give it gas as I start it. (only happens during cold starts)
This is what happened today: I came to a light after 1/2 mile of starting the car, put it in neutral and the RPMs jumped from the normal 800/900 area to a constant 1500. It was like the gas pedal was stuck but it wasn't. Is this the typical idle problem with these cars? Any fixes?
