Why is this price so low?

From HMotors...a B16A longblock for $500? Isn't that the entire engine, just without all of the extras?

Its not that cheap, thats about average price for them.

doesnt the long block come with the tranny??
i though short block was without....

I think that a short block is the block with pistons and crank.

Long block or short block has nothing to do with transmissions. A short block is the just an engine block. Long blocks are complete stuffed engines, oil pan to valve cover

oh ok, glad that was cleared up, its just i thought i read on a site that they were selling long blocks and it said wut they included and i thought i saw transmissions.... unless it was just this place and they were being nice, i dunno
but u guys cleared it up for me, thanx!

Many places sell long block engines with transmissions & more.
