looking for keyless entry remote
I am looking for keyless entry remote for 97 maxima. The dealer gave me a part #2826840U20 They could not give me an FCC ID #, and I cannot find one online to buy that would be compatible. Please help! Thanks!

the key fob that goes in on the keychain or something else like a computer/ECU ??

You will have to forgive me, I am a little "green" at this. I am looking for the remote that goes with my car to unlock the doors. I do not know what a key fob is. The part # i put in my original post is the # the dealer in town gave me for the remote. I am trying to find one online, and I do not know which one is compatible with my car. Can you help me?
