Clear bumper lens how-to with pictures
Well since we all love pictures, I thought I would post this so the next 4G newbie will have a guide or something.
Yeah, these pictures show you that my car's paint isn't perfect. But basically it is just the front bumper and the hood that need some work. The bumper and hood both need a complete redo. On with the how-to! You can find this how-to on my website as well. http://www.cs.uidaho.edu/~coll9947 First remove the screws that hold the cover over the lens. Next pull the lens free of the bumper... see that orange square piece? That is what we pull out. Grip it like this and squeeze gently and pull on it. It can take some force on cars it has never been done to before. ![]() This is what it looks like when it is pulled out. ![]() The finished product. If you want to leave it like that, just put the cover back on and screw it back in. If you want to stay legal in most states, put in orange bulbs.

It's addicting...
I think Melt is on some sort of trip. Maybe we should call my picture posts "DiGs" rather than "Melts" because mine will all have dope ass car pictures in them and nothing else.
