Switch question

Comming out of the transmission is a switch. Coming out of this switch are two wires. One is green with a black stripe and the other is yellow with a stripe...don't know whihc color. I know the green one goes to my reverse lights but is the other one the tachometer line? Any info would help being that I think the connection to the reverse lights wire is bad. I am getting no signal from it while I am in reverse. Thanks alot

The end of that post didn't make sense. I want to replace the switch that's why I want to know what the other wire goes to.

Tach is a blue wire that comes off the distributor. I think both of those wires have to do with the reverse light.

Yeah, the two wires I think you are talking about are for the backup lights.
