i found the leak!!!!!!

it was raining this morning and i saw water leaking on the passenger side....under the glove box on the right side near the front speakers...anyone know where this leak coming from???? and how can i fix this????i have an 89 si if that helps

Does it look like the water came out of the speaker covers? That happens to me when I was my car, and it's because the weather-stripping along the bottom edge of the window is old and doesn't hold right up against it all the way across... Never got a ton of water, but I could see drops coming through the speaker grills...

not from the speaker cover.......it's coming on the right side underneath the glove box i saw the water dropping.....u know where the vent is just go straight down......can it be from the windshield????? or sunroof????

Do you have AC in there? There was a thread a day or two ago about someone with a similar problem, and someone posted that the evaporator for the AC is located right there, and may not be evaporating the water...

once when i parked on a hill my passenger floor board got about 3 inches of water in it in my teg. i was like OH SHIT!!!! the computer got wet and it started to run funny. i got a cup and got all the water out then pulled the carpet up a lil and dried the water with a towel. i cranked it back up and i could smell fuel really bad. it idled funny for a lil then it started to clear up think it ran the injectors wide open or something. its fine now but damn that was scary.
