Potenza RE950 sizing?
So I'm gonna get some new Potenza RE950's for my 195/65 R14 wheels. Must my tires necessarily be this same size? or can I get tires with a bigger contact patch without adversly affecting the car? like, could I get 60 series tires, and would that be better?

If you're running the stock wheel & stock suspension you can go 205/60-14 but RE950 is not available in that size. The best choice in this size would be the Dunlop SP Sport A2. See:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....l=SP+Sport+A2& 205/60-14 SP Sport A2 is better choice than 195/65-14 RE950 for cornering, subtly tighter ride and road noise on rougher roads though. [email protected] |
