Unhappy R.I.P Little Tiger

My wife and I put down her cat of 18 years today. Talk about tugging at your heart strings. This is the second time I've had to go through this. The first was with my dog Tasha about 12 years ago. Our other cat is only 3 so we've got quite awhile (hopefully) before this comes up again. Its almost enough to make you not want to get any more pets.

I'm sure the kitty had a good life, and was happy living with its giant, hairless, erect-standing pride-mates...

Thanks for notes guys. Damn animals should live at least until their master passes away. God dammit God! - that was some poor design work!

Well atleast you can look at it this way, it lived longer than it should have and plus atleast it died peacefully and not at the end of a vehicle or dog or something not so good.

They're smaller, so their batteries aren't as big...

I'm sorry Yogs. Putting a pet down is a really hard thing to do. We had to put down a dog about 3 or 4 years ago and she was only 10, so at least your kitty had a good, long life.

Damn mate I know exatly how you feel, Iv been there twice already, and after going to see my mother the other day realised how old my cats are getting, and that it won't be long before its there turn.

But on a happier note my flatmates cat is being slowly converted to the Moppieside, and so far my bed is the only one she will sleep on at night.

And of course Yogs you get to take all that love you had for tiger and give it to your current cat so she/he dosnt get lonely.

(oh, and Jay you really are a sweetie )
