hi, hopefully this is in the right spot
i've recently been having an issue with my acura tl '06 where when i'm driving (typically between 40-50+) the car will sound like it is revving when I let my foot off the gas. The rpms do not increase. If anything, in the video, it shows them decreasing a bit. Could this be an issue with my trans? I just got it flushed the other day and the issue persists. I can still drive the car. It doesn't seem to having a rough time shifting into gears and it doesn't jerk or have any loss of power in any gear. video link below https://youtube.com/shorts/usoI0YDJI...JEYYEdN9M5W_Pj |

Re: Sounds like revving but no rpm increase
Welcome AF. I think I see a check engine lite on, if so get it scanned and post the code.

the only codes popping up are for my 02 sensors. Granted, I don't have the best scan tool so i'm not sure if other codes would pop up with a better scanner. i'm pretty sure this issue is only happening in 6th gear. Every other gear if I let my foot off the gas, the car has no issues, but when in 6th it will always give me that high rev sound. |
