On "The Bench"

Hi guys, been a bit steady lately, just doing little bits on several kits while waiting for glue/paint to dry.
Just a couple more projects under way at the moment include :
Hasegawa Celica with engine implant
Fujimi 180SX with extended front lip and wheel upgrade
Tamiya GT-R "ute" or flatbed truck some may call it
As well as still working on the SAS/C-West R34,a Toyota LandCruiser,
a "wide-body" Soarer and the 350Z.............phew
Anyway,here's a few teasers.....

More pics soon,I hope.....

I m not very fond of the ute idea , but man !
Fantastic execution!
Looks so crisp and clean!

Also, I m quite interested by the engined Celica.. could you post some more info of that, if you have the time / will.

There's magic going on on your workbenck, I can see.

Cheers,thanks for the input guys
bigfrit, the Celica is fairly accurate IMO,sadly,it does lack a bit of detail.
The front suspension looks a bit overscale, but passable
Interior looks good and should go together without much drama.
As it was curbside,I decided to add a motor. It actually come from a Tamiya LM Toyota (old kit).Still undecided on a turbo set-up or webbers.
Will have more soon

Pure coolness on the way!!! I especially like the Sky-Ute! You should put some engine blocks and spare racing rims in the back when finished!

Smile thanks guys...

Thanks everyone, didn't think the ute idea would get much attension.
Glad you all like it
Hopefully a thread wont be too far off...

joecwlaw and Bookshelf, the blue car is the old Tamiya 2000GT-R,about
69/70 if I'm correct. I'll do a seperate thread for it,got some more
cool pics just recently.Hope you enjoy.

CamaroSSBoy346,yes,the 58 Belvedere was built as a club project..
Yours looks like it turned out pretty cool.

Hey Craig, you spotted that badboy 58,forget you saw the ute
it's "top secret". J/K,Brad and Muzz have seen it

Got a bit more done on the Celica engine bay, progress is slow

The "calliper/less" disc brake for the front,I'll be upgrading these for
something better from the parts box...

Cheers,more soon
