89 grand prix turbo

Hello everyone. I'm new here and I need advice on a 1989 pontiac grand prix turbo 3.1 engine
it has a hesitation when just starting to push throttle down and it acts like it is starving for fuel at mid throttle, but if i push the throttle on down it runs ok. I have replaced all of the following with new parts.
1. all new injectors
2. all new sensors - coolant, o2, crank, air temp, temp sensor for dash
gage , map sensor, throttle position sensor, & knock sensor.
3. new coils
4. new ignition module
5. new plugs
6. new plug wires
7. new thermostat
8. new computer
9. new prom
10. new fuel filter
all parts were bought from NAPA
i unhooked the cat to see if it was plugged. It is not I forgot to add that the fuel pressure holds at 40 psi while idleing
I am out of ideas. Can someone help me with it? Thanks in advance

Re: 1989 grand prix turbo 3.1 engine

Well here is an update to my earlier thread on the 89 pontiac grand prix turbo.
I did not give up. I kept wondering about the new injectors. I decided to go back to NAPA and ask some questions about the injectors. To my discovery, the ones I had purchased earlier were the wrong ones. They were not for a turbo engine. I ordered the correct ones and installed. Now the car runs real good. So if anyone ever buys injectors, make sure they are for a turbo because they dump more gas when needed !

Re: 89 grand prix turbo

Injector flow rate is a critical number, especially on speed-density systems with early ECMs.
