I have flown repeatedly in 300ER and the push back in my seat at start of takeoff run is amazing! The power to weight ratio on 777 must be quite high

Ironically, the U.S. FAA recently recertified the antithesis of things like the 757, 767, 777, 787: The MAX 737 variant: An outdated regional hopper platform engineered intentionally lower to the deck for easy air-stair loading and unloading of passengers at smaller airports that do not possess the infrastructure supporting the telescoping jetways seen at international airports. Powered by engines equal to or exceeding both in size and thrust those engines installed on the initial variant of the DC-10 or Tristar, requiring a mounting point far forward and above the location of the original 737 engines back in the late 1960s! |
