and the engine bay . it looks almost complete but I have a RB20 head sitting on the block at the moment just so I could complete the wiring before the RB26 head returns . the wiring looks a mess but it all has a place to go , I just have not put heatshrink or anything on it yet. I have had the ECU online and everything works , even the CAS when turned by hand. not quite as flash or as powerfull as other cars but it will keep me amused.
Brenhan.

Hey Brenhan! Looks like the project is coming along nicely! What turbo did you end up going with and what FI system are you installing?

its basically a Garrett 60-1 turbo , it looks kinda small but should be good for just over 600 hp , all the wires lead to a Haltech E6K , it will certainly be interesting to see how it all turns out , what plans do you have for yours Rich?

WOW thats alota power from a 60-1! Bet that things gonna spool up quick!
I havent decided what turbo I'm gonna do just yet. I want a BB T66 but I would have to fab up a kit for it. Dunno if I feel like doing that or not. I want about 650rwhp. But for fuel I'm gonna rely on the Power FC:o I know....its the wuss way to do it. haha.
Are you still using stock internals? Or have you built that up also? I'm gonna see if I can squeeze 650rwhp outa my stock block.

yeah , standard bottom end at the moment , for as long as it will hang together ,when I do the bottom end I will do a bigger turbo and injectors , everything looks pretty good below the head so I should get at least a few months fun out of it before I have to shell out on pistons , crank , rods , oil pump etc , when I redo the bottom end I will make it a 2.7 litre , and make it more capable of bigger revs , the cams are HKS Step 2 so are good to 9000 but I dont really want to break rod bolts or anything , so until it has ARP bolts the rev limit stays at 8200 tops .

Nice turbine kit Bren. How much did ya dish out for that. I dropped 1300 US on my HKS manifold and HKS wastegate. Also included was the T4. Not to bad a price I guess. Those are some pretty long tubes on the header. Got and clearance problems yet?? I had to cut my engine mount. Thats one reason I hate bottom mount turbines.
