1/24 Lancia Fulvia 1,6 HF Sanremo 1972 Winner
Hi all. The fulvia's projects born in the following thread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1151173 , but it start to be a bloody mess with multiple models, new model announcements and WIPs..... too much
. So I decided to start new threads for the new WIP jobs. I'll keep the original thread as a index and for the following developments of the original projects, like for example the barchetta and the Zero prototype. This new WIP thread would be dedicated to the Fulvia that in Marlboro livery won with Ballestrieri/Bernacchini the sanremo 1972 rallye. It wouldn't be a box stock job, I'll add something and eventually to showa few tips useful for the Fulvia's customers. Let me show some start's pictures: I have to admit that is something kind to choose a kit you have designed, engineered, developed and manufactured... and to start it.... marvellous ![]() IMG_6772 by giovanni castello, su Flickr IMG_6773 by giovanni castello, su Flickrdelicious mountain's italian potatoes.... IMG_6774 by giovanni castello, su FlickrI decided to open the back trunk, not easy job since the thickness of the resin in the back, to rend printable the shell. Go for the easy option.... two body shell to achieve a open trunk..... IMG_6780 by giovanni castello, su FlickrFor several reasons the front panel itis flat inside in the kit: I decided to detail it and to cast for future usages (read barchetta...) IMG_6796 by giovanni castello, su Flickrsame back: despite I didn't cast those... IMG_6797 by giovanni castello, su FlickrDue to the back wall thickness, the fuel tank of the HF is short: I just pick the Zagato one, in normal size IMG_6783 by giovanni castello, su Flickr IMG_6798 by giovanni castello, su FlickrSo far a fitting test: IMG_6789 by giovanni castello, su Flickr IMG_6788 by giovanni castello, su Flickr IMG_6787 by giovanni castello, su FlickrAnd speacking of mechs... Ciao Gio, it is really great to see you started the Fulvia rally! The details are really amazing and the Marlboro livery will be really unique since everyone modelled the '72 Monte car. Superb job on the opened trunk and hood! You've done a great job on the body section!
