I posted this over in Fchat, but the Gulfstream G550 THJ posted on his instagram has the registration VP-BLW. He said it was a client of his, but didn't specify for which car. Given that the next post said the F1 sold, presumably that G550 owner was the buyer. That plane left for Newcastle in north UK later that same day so I'm guessing that's where the owner is based.

Edit: It got to THJ from south France and is back there again (Toulon-Hyeres) so maybe it will end up in France.

Edit #2: One last thing...the plane is registered in Bermuda on behalf of a representing legal firm (Appleby) that just got hacked today (lot of news articles on it). That really sucks. A lot of high net worth people will probably have all their financials known...hopefully it gets fixed quickly.

Not a quick sale at all - had been in the market quietly for months through TH before it was ever publicized.

I guess they couldn't find a buyer willing to pay the large $$$ so they went public with the car.
