Tamiya News: Mercedes AMG GT3 1:24

as probably many already know, this is the upcoming new static 1:24 kit from tamiya. due to oct. 2017. This will be a curbside model, and I really hope, the start of a new serie, even just curbsie gt modern racers with stunning liverys..

Cool! I like that Tamiya announces a release and it goes to market shortly thereafter. Revell announces a kit, and the market has to wait nearly a year (e.g., the Porsche Panamera 2).

This is good news indeed. And I too, hope it will be a renewal for Tamiya into Sports Racing cars.

I too would like to see the Aston, but if there will be one, I'd wager that Tamiya will wait till next year as Aston is retiring the current Vantage design at the end of this season. It's already like 8yrs old, so time for a new one. I'd love to see them do the Vulcan tho.

I'd also like to see Tamiya do the P1 GTR, I know it doesnt race anymore but its just too damn sexy to not be done by someone.

And let's hope there are lots of liveries to choose from for this AMG. With it racing in many series, I cant see there not being lots to choose from. Studio 27, Racing 43 and hopefully some others produce decals for this kit.

I´m afraid, you´re right, but I hope you´re wrong.
I do not really like the new-style Astons, but I love the old ones, even the DB7.
Vulcan would be awsome, though!

One of my 2017 wishes has come through

I will make the AKKA-ASP car 88 from the 2016 Spa 24h which had Felix Rosenqvist as one of the drivers (they finished second in the race).

Well, there are so many nice liveries on that car, might end up more than one build...

I can't wait for it. Hopefully they will start a whole new GT3 series. I really would like to see the next one to be a Bentley GT3
