2012 Fiesta Radio Issues - Static From Speakers
We have a 2012 Fiesta that the radio will randomly stop working. Usually shutting off and restarting the car fixes it.
Then today I went out, unlocked the car and started getting static and hissing through the speakers until I relocked the car. The key was not in the ignition. Later I was driving, the radio was not working and suddenly the speakers sounded like they were "shorting out", popping and cracking. I had to shut the car off and restart it to get it to stop. When I turned the radio on I got the "Ford Audio Welcome" message, but the radio does not work. Any ideas what the heck is going on?!? Gary |

Been doing some searching online and looks like it might be the ACM, audio control module. Does this sound right? Where is it located?

Re: 2012 Fiesta Radio Issues - Static From Speakers
heck could be anything, but i always start with the simple solutions. Check the radio fuse, connection to the battery, then i'd remove the radio to ensure everything is plugged in right. Some radio's have a fuse in them too that you could check.
