Buy (used) or Lease?

I know this has been a long debated issue...

From the research I've done throughout the years I was always taught it's better to buy than lease because in the end you save money. But that was back in the day when we kept cars for-ever!!

Does it still pay to buy rather than lease these days when there's new technology coming out everyday that will make driving easier and safer?

I'm thinking of either leasing or buying (certified used) a Lexus RX or BMW X3. Just can't decide which is the best way to go.

Any advice is appreciated.
