Window was working fine until my dog yanked herb head back through partially open window. From that point, the windowbwould only go down, not back up. The motor does not even make a noise when trying to raise window. This is the case even when using drivers side controls too. What could be the solution?

Re: 87 B250 passenger window stuck down
The dog might've stepped on and broke the switch. Since the motor runs to drop the window you can assume the motor is not the problem.

Re: 87 B250 passenger window stuck down
Would that be the case if the drivers side passenger window control is acting in the same way. (i.e window control lowers passenger window, but does not raise it.)

Quote:
If you need to get the window up for now, remove the door panel, disconnect the window switch, and apply 12 volts directly to the motor leads. (Reversing the leads will reverse the direction of the motor.) |
