2010 Mazda3 occasionally not coming out of Park

I have a 2010 Mazda 3 5 door automatic with the 2.5L. Over the past year the car will sometimes not want to come out of park. My foot will be firmly planted on the brake and the brake lights will come on. This morning it was doing it again and I had to turned the car off (to auxiliary) to put it in neutral to start it. It instantly came out of park when I did that. I've also noticed every once in a while I will lose all my radio presets and settings. I'm not sure if that is related or not, the battery is a year old and terminals looks clean.

Any ideas?
