Sup everybody,
I'm looking for some top-end speakers size 6.5" for my car. The stock speakers have been blown for a while and I figured i may as well upgrade. Anyone have some pointers on where to start? I know pioneer is one of the leading brands, should I go that route? |

Re: New 6.5" speakers reccomendations?
Well, I don't plan on spending anymore than $800 for my whole system - including my tweeters and a sub/box combo. I've been looking at the Pioneer 3-way TS series I found here http://www.pricenfees.com/best-6-5-car-speakers.html any chance you've had any experience with those? and I have an aftermarket radio I plan to use by sony.
Do you think its ideal for me to also include an amplifier or will a stock radio be fine? I know ill need one exclusively for subwoofers if i get them.. |

Re: New 6.5" speakers reccomendations?
I am sure any of the speakers on that page would be fine. Sony item says no longer available, if you are going to use an aftermarket radio you will not be using the factory one. An amp can give you more volume and cleaner sound, can be added later.
