1/24 Lexus LFA with Nurburgring Package

A quick post for a recently finished project - one of my favorite Japanese modern day supercar, the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package in Whitest White:

This is a picture I took of the real car in NY Internation Autoshow back in 2013:

Nice! I saw the same LFA at the auto show in Atlanta, GA. I think it was there 2 years on a row. That makes a total of 4 LFA's that I've seen locally, 3 of them at local Caffeine & Octane meets. I missed a matte black one that was at the auto show the year I didn't go.

Nice, these are so rare.. I haven't seen any on the road yet in NY. What color were the other 3?

Awesome model of an awesome car. Did you use a transkit?

The company I work for is the German service centre for these things so I've seen a few. They never get dull.

The guy who owned LFA 003 (first customer LFA) ordered it in silver/red, he got the last customer LFA in a slightly darker shade of silver, he had them side by side at a car show. He kept the latter one, and sold the first one. The other was a red LFA that I believe was a corporate car, showed up at our local Caffeine & Octane show.

Yes, I used the Hobby Design transkit. Nice, I really want to hear the V10 engine/exhaust in real life. Heard them enough on videos and Gran Turismo but wanna experience it in real life.

Darker shade of silver, I would imagine that must be nice and that's why he kept it..

Shortly after he had both, he put both up for sale. He was going to keep one or the other, depending on which one sold first. The differences between the two were subtle.

The early one sold first.

Have seen photos of it from Poland, where it now resides.

He absolutely raved about how good the LFA was, he's owned a lot of supercars and said it was by far the best of all of them. It sure sounded incredible!
