I voted the vette cos I think it looks cool. I'd go for an E46 M3 with the 330HP engine but I don't think thats within the Model-Year range you specified. (?)

Depends on what you want to do...if you wanna go fast in a str8 line...get the '03 Cobra no doubt

I love how scary the Trans Am looks, but the 03 svt cobra would be a very close #2.

I'd take the E36 M3- if you look hard there are plenty of nice mods to be done for about as much cost as a Corvette- plus it is the best designed and engineered car of your picks- even if it is the dullest looking

The M3......regardless.....I am not a big fan of American autos......

E46 initiated production in 1999, I was involved in the tooling for BMW's Roslyn plant in South Africa when they re-tooled for the E-46.
I believe officially it was a 2000 launch in South Africa though, I am not certain about Europe.

Hmm Vette or Trans Am....Trans Am I think looks more aggressive and evil, not to mention one of my favorite cars. But I think I would go with the Corvette. Why? Because you get the same power if not more then the Trans Am, and that Corvette is so fully loaded with options and stuff its insane. And for a little 2 seater its real easy to get in and out of, real comfortable, shit hell yes I'll take that.
