Rear rotor problem

Having trouble getting my rear rotors off. E brake is released but they will not even budge. Took the screw out of the rotor, which I have never seen before. No help. Am I missing something? Its a 2010 by the way.

If all the retainers are off, it's just rusted to the hub face. a few good whacks with a heavy, soft faced hammer on the rotor face should free it up.

Thanks. Hope thats all it is. Thought the e-brake pads may be sticking.

GMTech1, is this the rotor with the internal e-brake shoe? If it is, the shoe is catching the ridge on the inside of the rotor.....going to take a lot of banging and prying....

Yes, it does use this design, but the park brake is normally only used when the vehicle is parked. It shouldn't have the ridges like those that form on regular brake drums which are used to stop the vehicle all the time.

I also think the rotor is just seized on due to rust/corrosion. I had the same problem when I replaced the rear rotors on our Equinox which uses the same design. I had to beat them off with a 3 lb hammer.
