'97 Mitsubishi Galant

Hi guys,

I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant. One day, I accidentally left my headlights on while I was at work; I got my car jumped and made it home. The next day my car wouldn't start; I took my battery to Auto Zone and got it tested and charged, I installed the battery back in the car but it still would not start; the radio and the lights came on but the car wouldn't turn. Anybody have any idea what the problem could be? The car was running just fine before I left the headlights on.

Thanks in advance.

Re: '97 Mitsubishi Galant

An acquaintance of mine had flat battery once on Hyundai Sonata and after he jump-started the car there was some kind of problem with the main computer.

I hope that this is not the case with your car, but maybe you should take look.

Just buy a cheap battery from a wrecking yard (or borrow a friends). If that fixes the problem, it was the battery.

Does the starter solenoid click when you try to turn the engine over?
