Ferrari 575M SuperAmerica

HI all,

Of all the Ferrari's, my favourites has always been the front engined V12's.

This is the (very basic) Fujimi kit. Some work was done to correct the front scoops and side sills. The interior received a lot of corrections, most noticeably the door panels and dashboard.

The wheels are from the Revell kit, sports seats from the Fujimi F430 spider. HD and studio27 PE was used. Tamiya red and clear lacquers was used for the body.

Very fun quick build, glad with how she turned out. All pics taken on my phone.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice! Excellent painting and great work on the interior. I assume you had both Revell and Fujimi kits. What's your opinion about the Revell one, is it a lot worse?

Hi, Thanks!

The Revell kit is very detailed and contains some nice parts. But the body just doesn't look like a 575. Its too narrow and there's something wrong with the nose. That's why I decided to combine the 2 kits. The Fujimi isn't without its flaws, but it at least looks like a 575.

Very nice indeed! The paint looks perfectly shiny, and the interior is very clean and detailed as well!
