baffled

I have a 1999 Durango and we cant seem to get it started. It cranks over but just wont spark. We tried troubleshooting it online and started somewhere. We replaced the coil pack and the distributor cap and rotor. we checked to see if the fuel pump is working and it is and there is gas at the rail. When we checked the spark we noticed that the spark was not blue it was along the lines of an orange color. So any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
