Gasoline in oil

Anyone have any idea how fuel can get in the oil on a 2006 Honda CRV with a 2.4 i-VETC. I've asked the local Honda Dealership and their service advisors said that there is no way for that to happen, but they could not explain why my oil was a quart and a half OVER FULL after driving 645 miles after an oil change.
