Not much going on here

Not much going on here in this thread. Malibus must be much improved. I spent too much $$ on repairs to my new '99 during its first 5 years, but $0 on repairs (and no warranty work either) to my new 2011 thus far. Thank you GM!

Re: Not much going on here

Not much going on because maybe: 1) folks have given up on their 99 and moved on. 2) most re-occurring problems with the 99 have been addressed & we've learned do either fix, manage, or ignore. 3) Like the original poster - traded up.

I'm entertaining the idea of moving on... a 99 is a 15 year ticking time bomb in the form of an old car that may overheat or flat out stall when you least expect it. My motto is, if a previously fixed problem begins to rear its head again (manifold exhaust) its time to move on.

All good things.
