New to Forum
Hi all,
I have just found this forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Bill and I live in the East Midlands area of the United Kingdom. I am now retired and have a 1996 Trans Sport 3.4l SE with the plastic body, which I have had for the last 12 years (doesn't time fly?). I wondered if there is anyone in the UK with the same vehicle. Although I don't have any major problems other than the self-levelling rear suspension runs all the time (I have to leave the fuse out), I would like to know how to change the front reading light bulbs. |

Re: New to Forum
manual for 1995 shows what appears( not very clear pic) to be 4 screws holding the overhead, 2 at the front, 2 at the rear. However, looking at my van, cant find the rear screws-they may in fact be clips. Try taking out the 2 front screws, then slip the console to the rear to unclip it. Should be a quick connector , disconnect it and change the bulbs

Re: New to Forum
Thanks for your advice. I removed the overhead console, but discovered that the "eyeball" lamp bulbs did not come out that way. In fact the bulb holder/reflector which fits inside the eyeball, only required to be pushed in and twisted anticlockwise and then dropped out. The bulb fits into an adapter which clips into the back of this unit.
