paint and clear coat

Ok guys, so I am waxing my car today and I notice alot of stuff I have never noticed (I.E. scrtaches and stuff) I was thinking of going to maaco and getting them to paint my car, the same color it is now. I was gonna prep it and take it in and then have them put clear coat on it.

is this a bad idea?...I know they arent good for "real paint jobs" but this is almost like a touch up job.

what do you guys think? let me know!!!

Send the car to me I do touch up and take out scratches plus paint bumpers at work...

If it is a old car i wouldn't buff but it depends if the paint is thin and if it has been buffed alot of times..

Is the clear coming off? If not I would touch it up. Its hard to say I don't know what it looks like or how bad it is. Plus if you have a dark car can get scratches very easily....
