Porsche 964 Pioneer

Hi

This is the Porsche 964 Pioneer livery. Polishing went bad as it attacked the paint. One day after the photos the paint got sticky I would really love to redo it if I can find these decals again :

Thanks for watching !

Sucks to hear about issues. That is a fine looking racer.

Re: Porsche 964 Pioneer

Very nice and clean work. Did you take Tamiya´s Porsche GT1 wheels for that?
If you have problems with a sticky clear paint, take some 2-part automotive clear (with hardener) and spray it over your sticky paint. It will harden for itself and seal it.

No, wheels aren't from GT1, they are from ScaleProduction, BBS GT I think.

Re: Porsche 964 Pioneer

Hi Frank, you have the Pioneer livery ? If yes, will you sell it to me ?

Btw, superb Porsche you have there. What wheels will you use ? And will you thin the window trims ?

Why I keep telling to people to thin the window trim: It is pretty thick and it doesn't have the correct shape on the inside. It should be more curbed. But its very easy to correct even with the body painted. Because you will paint them black anyway

Same goes for the windshield trim. When painted black on a white body it stands out too much because its very thick.
