Jealousy of not being an American

How many here are really jealous of us? I am curious to know the answer to this question. I'm certain this thread will be closed but now that we see that the US and its Allies have trampled Saddam's evil government alot of people still think we were wrong. Well I disagree and I'm Proud to be an American living in a totally free land. I'm happy for the Iraqi people who have already been liberated, Yes they have a long long road to get established but they will prosper beyond anything they have even had dreams of (if Saddam even allowed them dreams)

You are entitled to your opinion, but do you really believe peopleare actually jealous of the US? I'm a Canadian, and most Canadians I know firmly believe that Canada is a much better country to live in than the US...

As for freedoms, watch Bush take them away, one by one.

I'm not saying this is you and I'm pretty sure you don't fall into the list of people who do this. But I saw on t.v. today that Canada is now boing a lot of american sports teams competing up there. Some of which are young kids. Pretty heartless in my opinion.

Not the sports teams, the national anthem. It's their way of telling the US what they think of this war.

Bush has done an excellent job at it, so far, keeping America on alert with supposed "enemies" around it. It seems it still escape Americans that Bush's actions are reminiscent of how Hitler went about, or for that matter anyone who wish to extend his empire. The first thing is to eliminate opponents, then take their territory. Once resistance is gone, subjugate and occupy. Bush is on his way to getting Iraq; for all intents and purposes, he has firmly etched on America that they need war, and that assures him of less opposition.

What freedom is Bush taking away?

Maybe the the second amendment, which virtually every liberal in this country tries to get rid of?
Or maybe the rights of people to pray in school(the first amendment), which liberals are against?
Or maybe the pledge, which liberals believe is wrong?

You obviously have many reasons to back these statements up right (besides just because you live there)? Canada could thank the US for even being independent, and since Canada is so much better than the US... can they keep their people from crossing into our boarders please. As for Bush, it is easy for you to say that when you are among the rest of the world who will enjoy the benefits of a world without Saddam.

Yeah, and the U.S.could partially thank France for being here. Everybody has helped everybody. What matters is what is going on now. A rogue dictator is refusing to comply with restrictons sanctioned on him by a government body and there are people coming to his aid and supporting him outside his country.
